The CTO/2 series carbon block filter cartridges are manufactured with highly pure activated carbon that is acid washed. The carbon activated particles are fused in order to form a uniform block to enhance absorptive efficiency and capacity. KX MATRIKX  32-175-050-100 carbon block water filter works the best at places where the combination of sediment and carbon drinking water filters is required.
